Are snacks and/or lunch provided?
Students may bring their own lunches and snacks each day. Students may also elect to participate in the catered lunch service, providing healthy and sustainable lunch choices at a reasonable cost. Horizon Honors contracts with well-known restaurants to provide different food selections each day. Each student should also bring a water bottle.
Is before school or after school care available?
Yes! Horizon Honors Schools offers before and after school care for an additional fee. See our Club Horizon webpage for details.
How can I obtain details about the Early Learning Standards used in the Pre-K curriculum?
The Arizona Department of Education developed these standards and are available through the State Department.
Do Pre-K at Horizon Honors students automatically receive enrollment in Horizon Honors Schools’ Kindergarten program?
Pre-K at Horizon Honors is a private program held on the Horizon Honors campus, Horizon Honors Elementary School is public, charter school. Students in the Pre-K at Horizon Honors program will need to complete an enrollment application and participate in the lottery to attend Horizon Honors Elementary School’s Kindergarten program.
